Our Company The Australian Ballet is one of the world's leading ballet companies and a globally recognised Australian national performing arts organisation.
Each year the company presents upwards of 220 performances through its mainstage seasons in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth; along with public programs, special events, an extensive regional tour, a Children's Ballet and Education programs and regular overseas tours.
This role tours interstate and internationally 20 weeks per year Work in an accomplished dance medicine team Combine high level physiotherapy skills to manage and prevent dance injury Manage the health and wellbeing needs of the Nation's most elite ballet dancers What you'll be doing: Work onsite and tour nationally and internationally with The Australian Ballet Work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary health team Use specialist skills to manage and prevent dance injury Collate and analyse injury and performance data What experience you'll need: Physiotherapy degree Sports Masters postgraduate degree Experience working in an elite sports/dance medicine setting Knowledge of the physical and emotional demands of elite ballet Employee Benefits: Complimentary ballet tickets Company Paid Parental Leave – 14 weeks for eligible employees LinkedIn Learning with La Trobe University A world class architecturally designed open plan head office in Southbank, Melbourne.
