Devlyn Construction is privately owned and has been established in Western Australia for well over 30 years.
We are a leading commercial contractor that specializes in delivering projects across a range of sectors in WA's metropolitan and regional locations.
We currently have a position for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Canning Vale operations.

THE ROLEAs a CFO with Devlyn, you will be required to lead and mentor the finance and accounting staff to ensure critical finance functions run efficiently whilst minimizing and managing risk within the organization.
This role involves overseeing the finance and accounting departments, developing financial strategies, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing insights for decision-making to support the organization's overall goals.

Responsibilities include:
Management of preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports including regulatory compliance for the business group.Manage capital structure, including debt, equity, and other financial arrangements.Review, critically analyze and broadcast appropriately the performance and position of the business.Oversee cash flow planning, investments, and asset management.Optimize financial systems, processes, and controls for efficiency and accuracy.Liaise with third-party stakeholders regarding Insurance, Legal, Accounting and Auditor consultancy, Banking, etc.Management of commercial risk within the business group including review of agreements, review of job budgets, organizing appropriate insurance solutions.Formulation and monitoring of Budgets and Financial Modelling to align with the organization's goals and to assist in strategic business decisions.Management of Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.ABOUT YOUTo be successful with Devlyn, the ideal candidate will have:
10+ years progressive accounting and leadership experience;Construction industry experience - advantageous but not essential;Professional Accounting Body Qualification and Membership – CPA/CAANZ;Bachelor of Commerce University Degree;Attention to detail and high ethical standards;Strong knowledge of financial laws, regulations, and best practices;Advanced level in Microsoft Office software;Experienced in using Levesys, Coins ERP Systems and/or other similar systems;Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills;Strong interpersonal skills; andExcellent organizational and communication skills.ABOUT USAt Devlyn, we strive to deliver projects with a difference.
