Position Overview The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center is seeking candidates for faculty positions in Nuclear Medicine who are passionate about collaborative, patient-centered clinical excellence, dedicated to advancing research and innovation, committed to education, and inspire inclusivity.
He/she/they will contribute to the Department's ambition while upholding the organization's mission and values.
The responsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to patient care, research, and training graduate and postgraduate students.
The Division of Neuroradiology focuses on all aspects of Neuroradiology, in particular, MRI and CT interpretations of the brain, spine, head and neck, and image-guided procedures of the spine and neck.
Neuroradiology enjoys excellent collaborative interdisciplinary relationships with referring specialty services, and serves a busy Comprehensive Stroke Center, a Level 1 Trauma Center, and a large NCI-Designated Cancer Center.
Neuroradiology faculty provide outstanding teaching to fellows, residents and medical students, and serve as teaching faculty for thriving Neuroradiology Fellowship, Diagnostic Radiology Residency, and Integrated IR/DR Residency training programs.

Duties and Responsibilities Daytime, on-site position: Monday – Friday 8a-5pWeekend call shifts (8a-4pm): Approximately 8 weekends per year, can be worked from homeInterest in image-guided procedures is desiredContributes to the day-to-day clinical operations of the Neuroradiology Division of the Department of Radiology:Provides high-quality patient care as related to the Neuroradiology Service.Contributes to clinical and imaging operations as related to the Neuroradiology Service.Education, Training, and Faculty Development:Conducts and provides clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings, both within OSUWMC and at the regional and national level.Collaborates with faculty and leadership in the Division to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities.Serves as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty in the Department.Research and Scholarship:Supports clinical and translational research activities and innovationMay serve as PI or Co-I in grants and/or clinical trialsServes on Department, OSUCOM, or OSUWMC committees to represent the research and innovation interests of the Department, as appropriateJob Requirements M.D., D.O., or Ph.D. in imaging and/or imaging-related fieldsBoard certification in Radiology (ABR, AOBR)Subspecialty fellowship in Neuroradiology, or equivalent experienceMust possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of OhioMust support and embrace the diverse and inclusive culture of College of Medicine, the Medical Center, and the UniversityHow to ApplyApplication materials must include cover letter and Curriculum Vita.
