Based at our Lilydale Campus Casual opportunities available Attractive hourly rate in line with current MEA About the role: A rewarding opportunity exists to join the Lilydale team of Box Hill Institute as one of our Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) teachers.
We provide innovative training delivery and assessment within the EAL curriculum to learners within the AMEP and/or SEE programs.
The Lilydale AMEP team focuses on delivering accessible community based programs that target education and employment outcomes for students in our local area.
As a member of this team y ou will provide high quality and engaging EAL training through targeted programs that are developed in collaboration with local community and industry partners.
We have multiple casual opportunities available at our Lilydale Campus.
About You: Postgraduate TESOL qualification (mandatory) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (mandatory) Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check (mandatory) Knowledge of ASCF and EAL frameworks Strong digital literally skills Ability to design and deliver engaging course materials and lessons Experience in effectively managing difficult and sensitive topics and questions Demonstrated experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds Ability to use learning management systems to create and deliver engaging course materials and use of student management systems for attendance tracking and results Institute Values Together we are curious, trustworthy and compassionate.
