Calvary Home Care - Tiwi IslandAbout the roleCalvary Home Care are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to work on the beautiful Bathurst Island. You will be responsible for alongside our Registered Nurse to look after the most vulnerable people in our community through home care packages, with clients ranging from level 1 to 4.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical/nursing duties as delegated by the Registered Nurse and/or requested by Service Coordinator.Work within the professional and legal boundaries pertaining to an Enrolled Nurse.Maintain clinical skills by participating in training programs as required, including mandatory training such as First Aid, annual CPR, and manual handling.Liaise with the Registered Nurse, General Practitioner, and/or carers regarding clients' well-being and report immediately any concerns regarding clients' status.What you bringAHPRA Registration current.Minimum of 1 year experience working in community nursing or in residential aged care nursing.Full Drivers Licence.Effective communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.Initiative and the desire to continually improve client care.Capability to prioritise tasks and achieve goals within set timeframes.Understanding of the community nursing sector - Home Care Packages, Department of Veteran Affairs, and Commonwealth Home Support Program will be considered favourably.Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one.NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain one.A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.About CalvaryWe are a leading provider of quality, integrated care that puts our patients, residents, and clients at the centre of everything we do.
