Health, Safety & Environment (Mining, Resources & Energy) ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields.
We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.
Due to unprecedented growth across the east coast remote sector, specifically throughout our Central QLD region, we are looking for experienced Health and Safety Advisors to take us into our next growth phase, as we mobilise our Anglo American villages in the Middlemount, Moranbah and Moura regions.
Working with well-regarded clients, the successful candidate will work an 8:6 roster, working 11 hour days.
Flights ex Brisbane, accommodation and meals included.
Locals are encouraged to apply on a drive-in, drive-out basis.
The Position The continual improvement of our safety management systemProviding specialist safety advice and support to our operational teamsEnsuring compliance with all legal requirementsDriving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performanceConducting regular safety interactionsEnsuring safety compliance and supporting investigationsThe Person Experience in Safety Advisory positions, having held responsibility for delivering overall HSEQ supportStrong and decisive safety leadership skills with ability to engage stakeholdersExperience in managing multiple stakeholder relationships, effectively bringing people along the site safety journeyHighly developed skills in communication, presentations and reportingCertificate IV in WH&SThe Benefits As a Team Member with Compass Group, you will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
