You will play a key role in delivery of education and training to undergraduate students in nursing.
As a Clinical Facilitator, your responsibilities will include:
Work in partnership with the Education Coordinator and Clinical Nurse Educators to facilitate student professional experience placements.
Deliver education and support to students across the facility and provide student orientation for each placement.
Maintain ongoing communication of student/staff expectations and provide learning that meets the needs of students.
Facilitate the opportunity for students to study and learn through observation, participation, reflection, skill development, tutorials, and seminars.
Essential Criteria:
Minimum 3 years' Registered Nursing experience in an acute environment (Medical/Surgical nursing is preferred).
Postgraduate studies in clinical education or preceptor course completion is desirable.
Working with Children check.
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent.
Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA.
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement.
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work across a rotating roster.
