We are currently adding multiple new attractions and undertaking major upgrades to our current attractions at Warner Bros. Movie World As part of our growth, we are seeking skilled tradespeople to join our rides team.As an integral part of Movie World's Maintenance team your duties will include routine safety checks, preventative maintenance and overhauls of some of Australia's most exciting equipment and attractions.Your day to day:Undertake park pre-opening safety checksRespond to breakdowns on various equipment and partake in various rebuilds and repairs of property within set timeframesStock control and deliveriesEnsure the safety of yourself and others by adhering to OHS proceduresObtain equipment licenses and undertake training as requiredComplete daily tasks as instructed by the engineering supervisorSuggest improvements in work procedures in order to increase efficiency within the departmentWhat you'll bring:A minimum Engineering Cert III Mechanical Trade - level certificate.Post trade experience desirableExperience in breakdown maintenance and diagnosticsAbility to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematicsWelding and fabrication skills would be highly regardedForklift license and EWP ticket beneficialPhysical fitness to enable the climbing of ladders and stairs and be comfortable working at heights up to 60mAbility to work autonomously without constant supervisionExperience with Maintenance systems such as SAP or Maximo would be highly regardedTo apply:Internal: Please visit internalcareers.villageroadshow.com.auExternal: Please visit themeparks.com.au/vrtp-team/recruitment.Applications close: 9th of January 2025 at 11:55pmAdvertised: 10 Dec 2024 E.
