Rehabilitation Consultant - Provisional Psych or Rehab Counsellor As a Rehabilitation Counsellor or Provisional Psychologist in the Rehabilitation Services Team at Altius Group, you will identify and address the critical physical, psychological, social, environmental and organisational risk factors which may have an impact on a worker's ability to successfully return to work and provide strategies to address these factors in practise.
Altius Group delivers services to individuals, employees, and insurers nationally across Australia, where you'll be based out of our Darwin branch.

About YOU YOU love working within a friendly, supportive, and collaborative team environmentYOU have excellent time management skills and enjoy using your discipline specific skills to obtain outcomes for individuals, employees, and insurers.YOU have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task and be organised.YOU are great at building relationships and enjoy working with all key stakeholdersYOU pose a high level of resilience and demonstrate the drive to continuously learn and develop The role you will be doing… Apply your clinical decision-making to manage an individual's recovery from injury or illness in the safest and most timely manner possible.Complete return to work case management for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.Provide holistic support to help restore an individual's highest level of functional performance through relevant assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments and Vocational Assessments.Deliver Vocational Counselling and facilitate interventions, well-being programs, training and upskillingCollaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical and other allied health professionals.Develop and Implement recover at work plans, job task analysis, labour market analysis, and job seeking canvassing.
