• Multiple casual positions available within the Food services division.
As a Food Services operational officer, you will contribute to food preparation.
You will be required to follow diet guidelines as per Dietician's instructions and demonstrate a knowledge of food safe principles and food hygiene practices.
This operational role (Food Services) is to assist in providing an effective and efficient service, which delivers a high standard of food preparation and presentation consistent with Food Safe principles, servicing, and distribution of meals associated with client dietary needs.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Demonstrate appropriate experience related to Food service.Demonstrated ability to problem solve and use initiative, work with a minimum of supervision, communicate, and work cooperatively with other members of a multidisciplinary team.An understanding and appreciation of the need for client/patient and facility confidentiality, privacy, and abide by the Code of Conduct at all times.Understanding of or an ability to acquire knowledge of hygiene standards, infection control practices, food safety standards, workplace health and safety, total quality management, equal employment opportunity, and anti-discrimination practices and behavior as applied in the working environment.17.5% annual leave loading, 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
