Fixed Plant Maintenance Technician

Highly sought after package of $169,000 inclusive of superannuation and a $30,000 residential allowance.Great Rosters 8/6 for residential employees and Perth to Port Hedland FIFO on a 2/2 roster.Step up into this autonomous mechanical role and fine-tune your preventative and corrective maintenance skillset.The RoleReporting to the Port Hedland Site Manager, this role will see you work as part of the maintenance team - carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance. Our team are focused on maximizing mechanical equipment and systems, whilst achieving minimal downtime, so you'll need to be experienced with fault finding and problem solving.You'll get to work on a variety of fixed plant and equipment, ranging from compressors, mono pumps, process pumps servicing water, fuel and raw materials, Pin Blenders, generators and gearboxes so no one day will be the sameYou will also be required to:Carry out maintenance tasks within budget and compliance standards.Coordinate preventative maintenance around production and breakdown maintenance.Liaise with suppliers to secure parts in a timely manner.Manage spare parts inventory and stores capturing maintenance works in SAP.Manage maintenance tasks to completion and supervise contractors when required.Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety shutdown system inspection timeframes.What you'll bringTo ensure success in your application, candidates must be able to demonstrate:You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture.Trade certificate in Mechanical fitting, or you may be an LV Mechanic, Boilermaker or Electrical Fitter with Mechanical Fitting experience onsite.Dangerous Goods Security Card.National Police Clearance.Forklift Licence (desired).Basic computer literacy using Microsoft Office and SAP (desirable).Genuine appreciation of workplace safety management.Positive, proactive, solution-focused attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to cover shift work and overtime when required.If you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn't align 100%, we still want to hear from you.Benefits to youWe are a team focused on safety, inclusion and high performance.18 weeks paid parental leave for primary carer, 3 weeks for secondary carer.Superannuation paid on unpaid parental leave, up to 12 months.Salary packaging options.Confidential employee assistance program.Mental Health and Well-being program.Options to purchase annual leave.Opportunities for career progression through succession planning and development reviews.Salary Sacrificing Options including car lease options, FIFO airport parking.The SiteWelcome to Port Hedland, where your career at Dyno Nobel begins in a place of extraordinary beauty and industrial significance.
