This prestigious national body representing a key professional sector is seeking an experienced Executive Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.
They advocate for the interests of their members and are highly regarded in the market.

Your new role
As the Executive Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the CEO and the Executive team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing high-level administrative and executive support to the CEO.
Working with, and advising the executive team on strategic matters.
Collaborating with the chair and committee members for board and management meetings.
Coordinating and managing the CEO's schedule, meetings, and travel arrangements.
Preparing and reviewing documents, reports, and presentations.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including government officials, professionals, and other key partners.
Assisting in the planning and execution of strategic initiatives and projects.
Assisting with management of the financial operations.
Managing confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary qualifications.
Proven experience in an executive support role.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Experience with government policy matters and submissions.
Governance experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of professionalism and discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
The ability to travel interstate when needed.
