Play Life LoudPlatypus Shoes is part of the Accent Group, the largest footwear group with over 850+ stores and 34 brands including Glue Store, Skechers, Vans, and Dr. Martens.We are seeking passionate and experienced retail managers for our Platypus locations in Northern Territory.
If you have a strong background in retail operations, team leadership, and customer service, we want to hear from youThis role will see you lead, inspire, and coach a team of passionate casuals, supported by your Assistant Store Manager.
You will drive sales and KPIs, enhance customer engagement, and support team member development in a high-profile space.The Role & Responsibilities:Ensure efficient operation of your store to achieve optimal results in sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage.Motivate your team to achieve optimal results in KPIs and added value targets across stores.Closely monitor store sales to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets; acknowledge outstanding results and identify any areas of missed opportunity.Effectively manage wage costs in store, adhering to weekly wage targets and company rostering standards.Coach and mentor your team to maintain high morale and encourage individual development through training and succession plans.Ensure efficient OH&S management and adherence to state and national OH&S legislation.Benefits & Culture:40% off Accent Group brands including Hype DC, Skechers, and Vans.Tuesday to Saturday roster with two consecutive days off for a healthy work-life balance.Access to our 'Employee Benefits' program, including discounted gym memberships and health insurance packages.Work amongst premium products with fellow passionate sneakerheads.Training and development opportunities to grow your career.Opportunity to join the Future Leaders program, including leadership training workshops and global conferences.To be successful in this role, you will have:1+ years of Retail Store Manager experience in a fast-paced environment.A motivated and driven 'Make it Happen' attitude.A passion for leading and inspiring a team to succeed.The ability to think strategically to identify missed opportunities with a proven track record in driving sales and KPIs.Operational excellence with experience in stock control and visual merchandising.Experience in effectively managing a roster and wage control.At Accent Group Limited, we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that values diversity.
