We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who is keen to drive solutions for complex problems individually and in a team-based environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform systems analysis and design of changes to systemsMaintain a working knowledge of tools and software packages usedUndertake relevant research including the evaluation of new software, tools, and techniques, ensuring they are fit to the Bank's enterprise architecture and standardsWork collaboratively with business stakeholders and peers to refine business requirements and to ensure they are metComply with and contribute to the development of the Bank's policies, standards, and guidelines for software development, as well as tool selectionLead the identification/breakdown of development components and tasks, as well as estimationsGuide other developers as they work through development decisionsSupport cross team collaborationContribute to continuous improvement and innovationUndertake the coding for systems, as well as integration software services and perform code reviews for other developersEnsure written unit and integration tests for all developed code follow Bank's standards and maintain test coverage As a Senior Developer, you must demonstrate significant knowledge and experience in: In-depth knowledge of Java technologies (e.g., Embedded Tomcat, Spring Boot etc)Proficient in Linux operating system (RHEL) configuration specific to application deploymentsKnowledge of SQL Server will be highly regardedKnowledge of Angular will be highly regardedFamiliarity with release platforms like Jenkins and Azure DevOpsHave a curious and accountable mindsetExcellent communication skills Application Close: October 30, 2024
