Quarry Manager

Castlereagh Quarry is a Hard Rock Quarry, located 5km from Cloncurry, Qld. It is a key source of all quarry products for Northwest and Central Queensland.Wagners are seeking an enthusiastic manager to oversee its quarry operations. We encourage local, DIDO or FIFO candidates to apply.The successful candidate/s will be responsible for but not limited to:Representing as the Site SSE and ensuring conducted in accordance with all relevant legislationOverseeing the day-to-day operations of the siteDetermine production schedules around sales forecastsLeading a dynamic and diverse teamOversee and manage maintenance schedules to coordinate plant shutdowns and ensure breakdowns are responded to in a timely mannerReporting on production and operations to management on a daily basisOngoing organisation and preparation for Quarry expansionStrong communication skills to communicate/interact with management, vendors and personnelAchieve budgeted production costs and production KPI'sAbout you – skills & experienceSSE Qualification (highly desirable)Diploma of Surface Operations ManagementQLD Safe Drill and Blast CourseCurrent S1,2,3 Certification or willingness to obtainTrainer/Assessor competency (advantageous)Demonstrate a strong culture of safety leadership and a working knowledge of Safety Proven experience in mobile crushing operationsDemonstrate competent computer skills including basic spread sheets, electronic reporting and weighbridge operation.
