A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a specialist motor insurance broker close to Southport Centre (PR8 5AB). JB Brokers Limited are in their seventh year of trading and have exciting plans for future growth – increasing the staffing levels, along with developing existing staff along the way.
The role is 'full-time' Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00. Insurance experience is desirable but not essential, as is the ability to use Open GI. 2 Years Administration Experience is a must - so please do not apply if you do not have this.
JB Brokers Limited expect high standards at all times; however, enjoying the job is a must The ideal candidate must be hardworking, self-motivated, computer literate, organised, compliant, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Taking inbound calls from existing customers and insurers in a professional manner
Obtaining paperwork from existing clients and liaising with insurers accordingly
Managing diary systems/emails to chase documents
Processing Mid Term Adjustments
Processing Cancellations
Taking/Chasing payments from clients
Uploading documents to the system and insurer portals
Adhering to FCA guidelines at all times
Work as part of a team whilst under pressure to achieve deadlines set
Associated administration duties as required

Skills and Experience Required:

A great telephone manner
Customer care skills and a professional approach
Attention to detail
You must be IT literate and have the ability to learn new systems
Able to work as part of a team
Flexible to be able to use initiative and have the ability to pick up new skills and tasks quickly

Continuous product and insurer knowledge training will be given after initial induction is completed. A six-month probation period will apply with the role, and personal checks will be carried out to comply with GDPR guidelines.
