The VP of Software Delivery is responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of IT and business solutions to clients across the globe. They will play a pivotal role in the strategic planning and alignment, overall program and project management, play a cross functional leadership role with Software Engineering and Product as well as develop best practice process and methodologies for the delivery of projects.

Individual AccountabilitiesProvide strategic direction aligning product vision, engineering roadmaps and client needs, while ensuring the smooth delivery of software programs of workLead the delivery of strategic technology projects and programs, ensuring effective management and realization of benefitsEstablish and promote best practice methodologies and standards for enterprise delivery, including Agile frameworks, continuous improvement methodologies, and governance practices that enhance quality, efficiency, and speedProactively monitor project performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions to ensure the success of projects and programsOwnership of Budget and forecasting for enterprise delivery initiatives including optimising resource allocation, controlling costs and ensuring financial sustainability across projectsDevelop, implement, and maintain technology delivery objectives, goals and roadmaps aligned with Coates' strategy and visionEngage regularly with executive leadership and key stakeholders to align on the status and roadmap of the Software portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and outcomesOversee and manage Technology Line 1 Risk, ensuring that all technology processes, including development and release cycles, comply with risk management frameworks and internal policiesLead the Release and Environment Management function, ensuring the seamless deployment of software across environments, managing dependencies, and optimizing release schedulesLeadership of the Business Analysis PracticePromote a culture of performance and continuous improvement within the Delivery organisationEstablish and manage project delivery teams with internal and external partner resources, ensuring the effectiveness of onshore and offshore delivery models where applicableMentor and develop a team of delivery leaders, focusing on personal growth opportunities, career ambitions, and coaching Qualifications and Experience15+ years in Program Management and/or technology delivery with 5 years of experience leading large and complex technology portfoliosExperience in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid program delivery modelsDemonstrated experience working with Agile principles including an understanding of the values of individuals and interactions over process and toolsExtensive experience in running major programs with matrix reportingDemonstrated ability in driving strategic vision and translating organisational goals into delivery strategy, aligning initiatives with business objectivesExperience engaging with C-suite executives and presenting executive reportsExperience managing budgets of $20m+Experience managing a large portfolio of up to 5 diverse projects of work About Coates We are led by a forward-thinking CEO who has demonstrated a true passion for people and making Coates a place where people genuinely enjoy working.
