Collections Officer

flexicommercial is our Commercial business within hummgroup. Our Equipment Finance Commercial Collections team controls the end-to-end recoveries process. We take our job seriously, but also like to share our experiences and celebrate when a job is "well done". In this role you will interact with people across the business, both internally and externally, so this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who likes forming and maintaining strong relationships.What Does An Average Day Look Like?No day is average at flexicommercial but here's an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:Portfolio arrears management of specific vendorsManaging the account level relationship with specific vendorsEnsuring all delinquent accounts are collected in a timely manner, and that compliance standards are adhered toAdhering to external regulatory and internal policy requirements, and system processes.Regular reconciliation of client accounts to identify account issues to resolve client concerns.Identifying reasons for clients arrears and negotiating a resolutionCase managing extended circumstances surrounding delinquency and providing client solutions that also meet the Business' needsRecommending and managing Legal action when necessaryArranging repossession of company assetsRecommending and managing legal action on Loss Recovery contractsDealing with disputesWorking with external stakeholders such as third party collections agents and solicitorsWho will thrive in this role?You are customer obsessed and want to make a difference in their lives. We are also looking for someone who brings:Experience in a Commercial Collections environmentKnowledge and understanding of the commercial asset financing industryUnderstanding of the litigation processComputer literacy including MS Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong verbal and written communication and presentation skillsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work effectively autonomously or in a team environmentProven dispute resolution and negotiation skillsDemonstrated initiative, drive, enthusiasm and tenacitySound like you?
