The Role We are seeking a Head of Digital Learning to support teachers in integrating technology into their teaching.
This role will lead and promote innovative technologies, ensuring our programs and resources meet the needs of our staff and students.
As the Head of Digital Learning, you will manage and optimise digital tools, ensuring compliance with educational standards and school policies.
Working closely with our Director of Teaching and Learning along with Heads of Departments/Classroom Teachers, this role will foster student engagement and academic success through effective use of digital technologies.
This is a 2-year maximum term, Full - Time position. Key Responsibilities: Create and continuously improve the school's digital learning strategy to align with educational goals and emerging technologiesConduct assessments to identify the digital learning needs of students, staff, and parents, setting clear goals for technology integrationDevelop and manage detailed plans for implementing digital learning tools and strategies, ensuring they meet the needs of the school communityRegularly evaluate the effectiveness of digital learning initiatives through feedback, data analysis, and performance metricsEnsure that digital learning practices and tools comply with relevant educational standards, legislation, and our school policiesCollaborate with Heads of Departments and Classroom Teachers to integrate digital tools into curriculum and teaching practices effectivelyOrganise and deliver training and professional development sessions for staff to use digital learning tools and strategies effectivelyOversee the allocation and management of digital resources, including hardware, software, and online platforms, ensuring effective and efficient useDevelop strategies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes through the innovative use of digital technologiesKeep up to date with the latest trends and advancements in digital learning technologies to ensure the school remains at the forefront of educational technologyThe successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of pedagogy, along with demonstrable experience in leading digital learning initiatives.
Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills are essential for this role.

About You Relevant qualifications in Education (E.g.
Bachelor of Education Degree or Master of Educational Leadership)Proven experience in leading digital learning initiatives within an educational settingDemonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative digital learning strategiesStrong understanding of educational technology tools and platformsExperience in curriculum development with a focus on integrating digital technologies into teaching and learningAbility to provide leadership and support to teaching staff in the effective use of digital tools for learningExcellent communication and collaboration skillsUnderstanding of current trends and best practices in digital learning pedagogyStrong project management skills with the ability to oversee the implementation of digital learning projectsA passion for enhancing student engagement and achievement through digital innovationAll positions at Peninsula Grammar require: Current VITFirst-Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualificationsChild Safety training (Mandatory Reporting Certificate)How to Apply Submit your current resume (with two professional referees) and a cover letter.
