We are currently seeking applications for three (3) Heads of Department - Student Services (Head of Year) to join our school community, commencing in 2025.
Your Role: The Head of Department - Student Services (Head of Year) will be responsible for working with the Executive Principal and the Leadership and Management Team to enact the school's ongoing improvement agenda.
The successful applicants will contribute to a high expectations school culture focused on continuous improvement to maximise each student's performance and potential.
Responsibilities include: Setting and maintaining high standards for student performance.Providing leadership and guidance for the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving student learning outcomes.Leading a culture of developing effective learning behaviours.Accessing, tracking, connecting and analysing student data to target improvements.Initiating and monitoring individual student learning plans.Maintaining a high visibility and presence within the school community.Identifying and acknowledging the progress and achievements of students.Embedding socially just practices in daily school life.Participating in ongoing professional development.Developing partnerships with parents, staff, and community groups.About You: Energetic and strengths-focused individual with the ability to lead strategically and operationally.Solid understanding of current educational research and commitment to continual learning.Interested?
