Company Overview: Join our dynamic team in Port Hedland, WA, where you will oversee three thriving businesses: The Walkabout Hotel, The Landing Resort, and Dixons Ampol Service Station. The Walkabout Hotel is a vibrant bar, bistro, and functions centre with a TAB. The Landing Resort is a 1000-bed accommodation facility with a restaurant, catering to workforce and welcoming tourists. Dixons Ampol Service Station operates as a shop selling coffee and fresh food, with our business managing the shop operations (not fuel).Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our three businesses. This live onsite position offers a salary package of $150,000+, inclusive of accommodation and meals.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations across The Walkabout Hotel, The Landing Resort, and Dixons.Recruit and manage staff and resources to ensure high standards of service and efficiency.Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures.Ensure quality control and operational efficiency.Financial management, budgeting, and reporting to the company director.Coordinate activities and resources between the three businesses.Address operational issues and develop effective solutions.Build and maintain customer relationships.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role with demonstrated success.Strong skills in business management, leadership, financial management, retail, and hospitality.Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong customer focus.A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is desirable but not essential.Competitive salary package ($150,000+) based on experience and qualifications.Accommodation and meals included.Opportunity to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.Application Process: To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why you are the ideal candidate for this role.This is not a FIFO position, it is a live in position.
