Job DescriptionJoin Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel as a full-time Demi Chef.
This is a fun and supportive environment in a beautiful hotel offering immediate commencement for Full Time positions (38 hours/week over a 7 day roster).
Oak & Vine offers a relaxed, communal dining style experience, where delicious share plates are served and best enjoyed with friends and family.
About the role:
Work alongside and supervise kitchen team membersEnsure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are servedMaintain stock control and ensure all food and other items are stored properlyDevise new menu items in consultation with Head ChefBe flexible to work a range of different shifts, including weekendsQualificationsTo be successful you will have:
Previous experience in either a hotel or restaurant environmentCertificate III cookery qualificationsPrevious supervisory experience in a kitchen roleBe flexible to work a range of different shifts, including weekendsBe able to work under pressure within a dynamic team environmentBe self-motivated and able to work without supervisionHave excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAdditional InformationJoin our positive and vibrant team and be rewarded with these team benefits:
