About the Role The combined Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / High Dependency Unit (HDU) will be a newly commissioned service that is due to open in early 2025 and will be established under the Clinical Services Capability Framework (CSCF) as a level 4 ICU.
The ICU/HDU will provide specialist clinical care to critically ill adult in-patients at Redlands Hospital and will also support ICU Services in the Metro South Health Service area.
The Clinical Outreach team will operate out of the ICU on a 24/7 basis and provide specialist clinical care and support for in-hospital resuscitation, patients experiencing clinical deterioration and provide support to staff within the general hospital precinct.
