About the Contract Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
Our clients are the owners and operators of assets that are critical to our local communities.
Ventia has been awarded a new water contract to deliver preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance along with Electrical, Mechanical, and Instrumentational services across the Seqwater network.
Ventia will provide service excellence across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations, and 26 referable dams.

As the RPEQ Mechanical Engineer, you will provide technical advice to mechanical assets across the Seqwater network.
Key Responsibilities Undertake mechanical engineering investigations, designs, and calculationsCollaborate with planners/schedulers and internal teams to optimise efficiencies across the mechanical asset lifecycleProvide technical advice to the Capital Works team on maintenance programsRPEQ supervision and sign-off responsibilities in accordance with Qld Legislation.Prepare engineering reports and documentationAbout You Degree in Mechanical EngineeringRPEQ registration with the Board of Professional Engineers of QueenslandCurrent Australian Driver's LicenceEngineering experience on mechanical assets such as gearboxes, hydraulic systems, actuators, etc.Experience on large maintenance programs, water infrastructure (Advantageous)Diversity Ventia is enriched by the diverse experiences, talents, and cultures that our people bring to the organisation while celebrating and respecting the communities we operate in.
