Work for a business supporting quality of life for our elderly generation.Residential aged care exposure, Attache, $110K + super neg on exp.Dynamic CFO, modern, forward-thinking management, you want this company name on your CV.The companyWith a mantra of "we love what we do" there is no holding back the tide of enthusiasm for this group.They are transparent, trustworthy, and tactical which has seen them mature to become a specialist in the care of our ageing population.Delivering the uppermost level of care and attention to the community and local residents, while creating long-lasting memories, their homes bring an unparalleled level of affordable luxury to Aged Care and are designed to create an inviting, comfortable, calm, and peaceful environment for residents and families to enjoy.Priding themselves on crucial industry knowledge, they are geared to support residents today, establishing aid for tomorrow.The roleSupporting the Finance Manager and CFO, this is a superb role that will keep you on your toes, utilize your multitasking skills, and heavily rely on your transactional payroll and financial accounting experience.Working with the established finance team of six, in various aspects of accounts receivable, payable, and payroll, you will assist the Finance Manager in preparation of month-end management reporting, preparation of quarterly financial reports to the Commonwealth Government, along with annual audited and statutory reporting where you will feel challenged yet be able to add immediate value.Duties will include:Champion AR, monthly billings, issuing statements for all resident accounts.Entering cash receipts.Debt collection.Manage residents' queries regarding statements/fee information.Safeguard and maintain Medicare and Services Australia fees and payments.Monthly preparation of debtor report.Entering journals for the AR entries.Payroll processing for 800+ employees fortnightly.Responding to management or employees' queries.Reconciliation and payroll journals.Month-end duties.Prepare monthly P/L reports actioning variance between actual and budget.Assist balance sheet reconciliations.Maintain chart of accounts.Manage monthly accrual and prepayment schedules and their reconciliations.Monthly intercompany interest calculation for the fund.Asset management: The company will allow growth, and your inquisitive mind to make recommendations and be heard.The EssentialsCPA qualified.Two plus years' experience as an accountant in residential aged care in Australia.Working in a volume-driven, timeline-oriented environment.Excellent organization and multitasking skills.Strong written and verbal communication.A person with a can-do attitude, who can own the role and who thrives on variety.The ApplicationNow is the time you can give back and assist this facility with their essential workers while caring for the community.Please email your updated resume to or just click the link.
