How you contribute This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated hardware focused Production Engineer passionate about facilitating new product introductions (NPI) and ensuring the highest standards of product quality.
You will be responsible for supporting the transition of new products from development to production, optimising manufacturing processes to accommodate new designs, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that new products are introduced efficiently, meet quality standards, and are delivered on time.
This position also involves troubleshooting production issues, managing engineering changes, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
Here's what we needNew Product Introduction (NPI) Support: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure a smooth and efficient transition of new products from development to full-scale production, ensuring manufacturing processes are robust, scalable, and optimised for quality.Engineering Change Management: Lead the engineering change process to ensure that design modifications are implemented smoothly and documented accurately, minimising disruption to production.Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing the efficiency of new product manufacturing, reducing time-to-market, and optimising production workflows.Troubleshoot Production Issues: Diagnose and resolve production problems in real-time, working closely with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all production processes comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.How you'll succeedEducational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 5+ years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering, with a proven track record in supporting new product introductions and quality assurance.Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, NPI methodologies, and engineering change management.Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify, analyse, and solve production-related problems quickly and effectively.Continuous Improvement: Experience in leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in new product manufacturing environments.Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing and safety.The added perksWork alongside a friendly and passionate team on cutting-edge technologyTake up our genuine learning and development opportunities.Settle into our great work environment and facilities.Work in comfort with a casual dress code.1 full day of leave, each year for work anniversariesWho Are We?
