Brightwaters Christian College is part of Christian Education Ministries (CEM), a protestant non-denominational Christian Education organisation, whose mission is to develop each and every student to be equipped spiritually, academically, socially, and physically to flourish and be a positive influence on the world around them.

Brightwaters Christian College is located on the beautiful western shores of Lake Macquarie and caters for K-10 (seeking NESA approval for year 11 in 2026).
The College is a co-ed, Christian school that is blessed with a spacious and modern campus.
While the school community is smaller, the learning culture is strong, and the potential to grow the school is great.

Requirements
An opportunity exists to join a fantastic, committed Christian team, in teaching and supporting students within a Christian environment and biblical worldview.
We are seeking applications from qualified secondary teachers who are enthusiastic, have excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to Christian schooling.
Experience in teaching English, HSIE, and/or Science is required.
This full-time role is due to start as soon as is practicable.
The position involves working with children.
The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for identity, rights to work in Australia, and child protection in accordance with CEM policy.
About You
You have suitable teaching qualifications and are registered with NESA (or eligible to be registered).
You have experience teaching English, HSIE, and/or Science.
You have experience teaching Stage 4 & 5.
You are enthusiastic and have excellent interpersonal skills.
You're willing to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes in your pursuit of excellence as a teacher.
You care deeply for your students and desire to see them grow and flourish mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually, as they develop the resilience and character to succeed beyond school.
You have a strong commitment to Christian schooling and are able to teach from a biblical worldview.
You have an active Christian faith and regularly attend church.
