THE COMPANY YOU WOULD BE JOINING Established in Australia in the 1970's, this healthcare distribution company is a leading provider of innovative medical equipment, leading the way in their niche areas.Their strength is their dedication to their healthcare customers with their goal to always provide the best solutions for best practice outcomes.They pride themselves on making a difference and are dedicated to innovation and ensuring that every aspect of what they do has a meaningful impact on people's lives.BENEFITS TO YOU Join this team that is proud, collaborative and unified to meet common goals.National role, established relationships, premium product, autonomous position.Trusting and hands-off leader.Established national territory available through current incumbent retiring.WHAT YOU WILL LEAD AND GROW This National Account Manager position (Sydney based) will focus on cultivating and maintaining client relationships, in the hospital & aged care sectors, in NSW primarily and nationally (QLD, VIC & WA), strategically expanding the customer base through new and innovative business opportunities to contribute to the overall success of the organisation.The role will develop a thorough understanding of the product in order to conduct product demonstrations showcasing benefits and features to prospect customers and will inform on the value proposition and how you can address customer pain points.The position will research, identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand upon the existing client base both locally and interstate and leverage existing customer relationships to gain new business opportunities.You will develop and maintain knowledge regarding competitors' activities and industry trends to create business development strategies and analyse customer feedback and market demands to refine and enhance product offerings.You will set and achieve sales targets contributing to the overall growth of the business and develop effective sales plans to maximise revenue and increase market share.You will prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, customer feedback and utilise this feedback to identify areas for improvement and collaborate with internal teams to deliver on customer expectations, identifying upselling/cross selling opportunities.You will handle and resolve customer concerns or issues.WHAT QUALS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB? Tertiary qualifications in science, nursing, business or similar (not mandatory).Previous experience in account/business development management within hospitals and/or aged care.
Knowledge of infection control products, techniques or technology will be a distinct advantage.Outstanding English interpersonal and communication skills to effectively present and pitch products/solutions with a creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.Embody ambition, enthusiasm and a 'can-do' attitude, with resilience and initiative.Be results driven with a focus on building and maintaining customer relationships.Ability to articulate your sales success and emulate that in this role.A current driver's licence with a clean driving history, full Australian working rights and fully vaccinated against COVID.INTERESTED?Please 'apply now' by quoting reference number 3631 and/or call Scott Della-Pietra on .
