Auriga Marine is a growing coastal shipping company operating in Northern Territory and Western Australian waters.
The Auriga Marine division provides essential logistics and maritime supply chain services to numerous remote communities and mines located across Northern Australia, including Wadeye, Arnhem Land, the Tiwi Islands, and Groote Eylandt.

The Role
Auriga Marine is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administration Assistant.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic workplace environment and gain valuable experience in an office support role.

This office-based role offers core business hours.
We are seeking a proactive Administration Assistant to support smooth day-to-day operations and efficiently complete office admin tasks.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Purchase Order Creation: Manage purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers.
Administrative Support: Assist the Operations Manager with various administrative tasks including handling correspondence, preparing documents, scheduling meetings, and answering phone calls.
Document Management: Organise and maintain office documents and records.
Office Supplies Management: Monitor and replenish office supplies as needed.
Communication: Coordinate communications between departments and stakeholders.
Skills and Knowledge:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Marine industry knowledge highly regarded.
Experience in office administration or a related field preferred.
