Job Summary: We have an opportunity for a Lead Rigger, with proven Telecommunication Rigging certification and experience.
This role is for a minimum of 12 months with a view to extend.
You will be responsible for leading a team and coordinating, managing and optimizing activities to improve the overall performance of the telecommunications network infrastructure and service.
This includes installation of hardware/software systems, and maintenance and repair of radio access nodes and core network transmission equipment.
Outline of Key Experience Required: Certified Rigger (intermediate or advanced) with all required OH&S certifications5 or more years telecommunications rigging experience in a network rollout disciplineA minimum of 2 years leading a Telco rigging team in building new sites and upgradesFamiliarity with NBN, Telstra and Optus installation standardsInstallation of Ericsson radio telecommunications equipment and cabling is preferableMust be able to perform structural upgrades to telco infrastructureSolid understanding and experience doing RF plumbing in modern and complex RAN roll out.Combination of most of the following experience, qualifications and achievements: EWP ticketAbility to read and interpret technical construction drawingsAbility to prepare acceptance artefactsDecision making and problem solving skillsConstruction industry white cardRF Hazard Awareness TrainingFlexibility in working hours.Note: Only candidates with valid Australian Work Rights will be considered for this role.
