We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced applicant with a commitment to the ethos of Catholic education for the following position: School Nurse (22.5 hours per week, 10:30am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday) commencing 27th of January 2025.
We are seeking enthusiastic applicants who are able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, support the vision of St Peter's Primary School and our Catholic values.
Applicants must display professional behaviours when engaging in child-connected work, have an ongoing interest in children and be willing to participate in a range of school related activities.
The School Nurse will work under the direction of the Principal.
They will liase with and work closely with school administrative staff.
Key Selection Criteria The successful applicant will ?
Demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to Catholic Education ?
Possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the school community ?
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills ?
Demonstrate the development of positive partnerships with parents and the wider community ?
Uphold professionalism and confidentiality at all times ?
Able to prioritise a range of tasks and manage time effectively ?
A current Working With Children Check and National Police Record History Check and be a suitable person to engage in child-connected work Role description attached Commencement date 27th of January 2025.
