Accounts Payable OfficerLocation: MeltonSalary: $39.80/hour + SuperannuationContract: 3-month initial termSystem: AuthorityAbout the Role:We're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to manage this organisation's end-to-end payables process and support their Finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payments to the organisation's creditors while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Manage the complete Accounts Payable processOversee and support Finance Support Officers in daily activitiesLiaise with the Procurement Coordinator on various administrative tasksEnsure GST compliance in supplier invoices and paymentsProvide excellent customer service to all stakeholdersContribute to process improvements and system upgradesRequired Skills:Strong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and discretionExperience with financial software (Authority preferred)Knowledge of GST legislation and accounting principlesQualifications:Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in finance/accountingExperience:2 yearsSkills:Accounts Payable Officer, AuthorityEducation:Bachelor Degree
