We have two families seeking a nurturing nanny to care for their 3 children (1.5 yr old boy, 1.5 yr old girl and 3 yr old girl).An ideal nanny would be loving, kind, calm and nurturing.
Someone who has a genuine passion and love of children.An attentive, proactive and energetic nanny that is experienced in engaging and having fun with the children, spending time indoors and outdoors and providing stimulating and creative playful activities which will support the children's learning milestones and development.A nanny that is reliable, responsible and trustworthy.
The family is looking for a nanny who has a practical approach, can build a lovely bond with the children and both families, set healthy boundaries and support the day to day running of the household.Previous experience with babies and toddlers is a must.The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows:To care for the childrenFollow the children's routinesPlay and engage in age appropriate creative activities to assist in the children's developmentTake the children out to activities, playgroups, playground/park, library, museum etc.Prepare meals and snacks for the childrenLight household duties – generally keeping main areas and surfaces of the home clean and tidy, unpacking and stacking the dishwasher, and putting toys away.
Any extra assistance to help the parents out would be greatly appreciated and only if time permits as the main priority is the children.Grocery shopping and running errands (occasionally)Start date: Mid August 2024Contract Length: 12+ months – long term preferredPay: From $40 – $45 per hour depending on experienceNote: Full driver's licence required (to drive family vehicle)The days and normal hours are: 5 days – up to 50 hours per weekMonday – Friday 7.30am – 5.30pmThe family's expectations from their nanny are:3+ years' experience as a nanny or working in childcareHave a current Working with Children CheckCurrent First Aid CertificateDisplay strong communication skills and speak excellent EnglishTo be fit, healthy, and activeUp to date with all vaccinationsFull driver's licence and clean driving recordJob Reference: LLNB219Please quote job reference in the comments section of the application form.
