Music Within, based in Crows Nest, Sydney, is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team.
This contractor role offers flexible hours, independence, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment.

Who We're Looking ForWe're seeking someone who is:
Enthusiastic about incorporating music into speech therapy where necessary
Comfortable singing, having fun, and creating a vibrant therapy environment
Self-motivated, creative, and eager to connect with clients in unique ways.
This is a contractor position covering a minimum of 4 months (maternity leave), with likely potential for extension and for taking on new clients.
Ideally, you'll be available in the afternoons to accommodate our school-aged clients.

What You'll Bring
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience but new graduates welcome to apply
Recognised degree in Speech Pathology.
Current membership for Speech Pathology Australia registration.
NSW Driver's License
Working with Children Check.
Strong clinical skills in speech, language, AAC (high and low) assessment and therapy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with team members
Ability to work independently and prioritise a diverse caseload
Passion for helping children reach their potential, strong communication skills, and a commitment to learning.

Your Key Responsibilities
Deliver tailored, high-quality speech therapy services (clinic, home, and telehealth).
Conduct comprehensive assessments (either formal or informal) and create individualised therapy plans.
Collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.
Be willing to understand and incorporate neurodiversity affirming practice within therapy
Maintain accurate documentation to track progress and ensure continuity.
Incorporate creative and fun elements into therapy sessions.
Participate in team meetings to share knowledge and foster a supportive environment.
