Full-time & Part-time/Casual Jobs Available We are hiring for the position of Disability Support Worker for the Eastern Suburbs and Northern Beaches of Sydney. Our ideal candidate has experience in providing disability support services and is dedicated to offering compassionate care that support both the physical and mental health of our clients. You will take pride in delivering personal assistance with to our cherished clients and will be highly flexible in responding to their various and diverse needs.
Job Description In your role as Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting our clients with mobility, eating, drinking, personal hygiene, administration of medicines, appointment attendance, fitness, and general domestic tasks. You will have experience in caring for those living with a disability and understand that a great deal of flexibility, patience, and compassion is required to assist with the individual needs of our diverse clients. Your role will also include assisting the client to develop their social skills, to help them better engage with and be a part of the community.

Being aware of realistic goals and limitations – making sure you understand each person and their strengths, needs, goals and support needs. Consistency and ability to follow through. Professional – human, friendly, but not needy or dependent.Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills by not only verbalising communication but by being attentive to what clients have to say too.Professionals need to have an empathetic nature and care about each individual's capability and provide services to build on client's independence and personal development.
