And we see it as a huge privilege to serve and support older people and their families across Northern New South Wales.Join us as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (Education) and be valued for who you are and all that you bring.About The RoleThis unique opportunity would suit an experienced Clinical RN with training/assessment qualifications who can coordinate and deliver education for our clinical teams within our residential aged care units.Supported by and reporting to the General Manager Avondale House, the position is critical to support the skills currency of our workforce and accreditation requirements.
This role can be a part-time role (4 days per week) with flexibility of days worked or full-time if opting to also work RN shifts.About YouYou will have the following experience and be able to apply your clinical and people experience in teaching, growing and developing our staff across the clinical teams:Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current AHPRA registrationPrevious experience in a training/educational environment as well as assessmentsDemonstrated experience working in a highly regulated industry, ideally aged careStrong computer skills and ability to use resident and learning programsDemonstrated skills and experience in:Compliance, writing and reportingWorking with people and contributing to a positive workplace culturePlanning, organising and leadingDeciding and initiating actionCurrent driver's license.Current NDIS clearance or willingness to obtainAbout Adventist Senior LivingAged care is never just a job.
