UGL are currently seeking Expression of Interests for experiencedHSE Advisor in relation to a maintenance project at a Major Gas Plant.
Point of Hire is Darwin, NT.
About Role: Monday – Friday8 hour daysDrive in Drive outKey Responsibilities: Develop project Health Safety, Security (HSS) & Environmental Management and Emergency Response (ER) Plans.Conduct HSS reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.Implement and maintain HSS & ER aspects of Project HSE Management Plans.Participate in HSS & ER risk management workshops.Support project contract owners in meeting HSS requirements.Collaborate with SMEs to support HSS & ER requirements.Facilitate HSS & ER assurance activities, including audits.Assist with hazard and incident management and reporting.Prepare and deliver HSS & ER training sessions.Monitor decommissioning and project operations for compliance.Provide HSS site representation as required.Other duties as directed by the HSE Manager and HSS Team Lead.Qualifications and Experience: Tertiary qualifications in safety, health, or related fields.3+ years' experience in offshore oil/gas or high risk industryKnowledge of HSS management systems and WA safety case regimes.Familiar with Commonwealth, State, and Territory HSE legislation.Experience in auditing, investigations, and incident management.Root cause Analysis Investigation Training (e.g., TapRoot, 5Y) – DesirableInternal/External Auditor training.Strong report writing skills.What we offer Diverse opportunities to back yourself, grow and achieveThe chance to join one of the world's leading international contractorsAttractive group remuneration and benefitsA culture that values diversity and innovationWhat makes you right for UGL Genuine concern for safetyCapacity to flourish in a high-performance environmentAn innovative mindset and a willingness to challenge the normUnderstanding success and value are realised when everyone plays a partAbout us UGL is well-known and respected for providing end-to-end engineering, construction and maintenance services within, rail and transport, communications and technology systems, oil and gas, power, renewables and resources, water and defence markets.
