Corrections Psychologist

Full time or Part time | 3-month - 6-month contractsAccommodation and Travel Provided if needed On behalf of Queensland Corrective Services, Henderson Healthcare is looking for multiple dedicated Psychologists to work with the incarcerated population across multiple Prisons in QLD.
About the Role:As a Psychologist with QCS, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality psychological services to men and women in correctional centers.
From conducting risk assessments to delivering interventions and promoting mental health, your work will contribute directly to the rehabilitation and well-being of individuals under your care.
Details:$90-100 p/h + Super and additional needs you require (travel reimbursements etc.
)Choose your location - Wacol (Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre, Brisbane Women's Correctional Centre, Brisbane Correctional Centre, Capricornia Correctional Centre & Wolston Correctional Centre), Mareeba, Spring Creek or RockhamptonAccommodation and Travel Provided if neededFull time or Part time3–6-month ContractsKey Responsibilities Include:Conducting risk assessments and clinical evaluationsProviding individualised case management and intervention strategiesCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholdersDelivering training sessions and psycho-education programsRole Fit:We are looking for candidates who have Adult Mental Health experience and an interest in working with prisoners.
You must demonstrate expertise in evidence-based assessment and intervention, possess strong communication skills, and have a commitment to continuous professional development.
