This presents a great opportunity to become an integral part of our growing national and international company.Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be a key member of the Port Lincoln retail store team, assisting customers with various queries and sales relating to a wide range of home improvement products.The successful applicant will ideally be able to work on a rotating roster across Monday-Saturday each week, equating to approximately 30-38 hours per week.ResponsibilitiesFace to face and telephone customer service and salesAssist customers to find innovative design solutions and preparing project quotationsMaintain store stock levels and general housekeeping, involving manual handling to shift stock when requiredEngage in regular product and sales training to confidently assist customers with product queriesStrict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environmentAbout YouPrevious experience within the building industry, particularly liaising with tradespeopleProven ability to provide solutions and drive salesA passion to deliver outstanding customer serviceForklift licence or willingness to obtainHighly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentYou will also have the opportunity to participate in 'Stratco's Delivering Excellence Program' supporting employee personal and professional development, by providing national retail career pathways and offering recognised qualifications.Willingness to work Saturdays on a rotating rosterRewards & BenefitsFlexible Working Arrangements | Health & Wellbeing Initiatives | Traineeship & Apprentice Program | Career Development Opportunities | Paid Parental Leave | Employee Referral Incentive | Stratco Team Member Discount Card | Private Health Corporate Discount | Flu Vaccinations | Employee Assistance ProgrammeOUR EVPAt Stratco, manufacturing is our foundation, but our people are our future.
