Stock Co Ordinator

Think Safety is a successful locally owned business that has been in operation for over 20 years.
We specialise in helping local customers both large and small to keep safe through the provision of safety equipment, PPE, workwear and work boots.
Think Safety offers a comprehensive range of quality brands such as Mongrel, Steel Blue, Bisley and Bolle.
We also specialise in garment decoration and offer in-house embroidery and vinyl application.
The Role This is a Part Time role.
As a Stock Coordinator, you are accountable for supporting the day-to-day running of the store operations, balancing your time between stock control and the shop floor.
Ensuring a smooth and efficient stock flow between the back of house and shop floor that maximises sales.
Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in a similar retail setting.
Experience with Lightspeed POS and Shopify is desirable.Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and time management skills.Basic math skills for inventory tracking and data entry.Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.A growth mindset, enthusiastic and welcoming to feedback.A can-do attitude with a commitment to continuous process improvement.Capable of repetitive bending, squatting, and kneeling.
Bi-lateral lifting of up to 15kg and use of step ladders when required.Tasks & Responsibilities Precisely enter product data into our Lightspeed POS program.Order stock within budgeted guidelines.Receive, check, and store incoming stock deliveries.
Unpack and prepare stock for display on the retail shop floor.Replenish stock to fully support the retail floor team.Communicate new stock arrivals with the Retail Team Leader.Handle any stock and invoicing discrepancies or faulty product claims with suppliers.Liaise with suppliers for backorders and communicate ETAs to retail staff.Maintain a clean and organised stock holding and office space.Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
