This exciting role offers the opportunity to play an integral part in managing and supporting key business initiatives while gaining exposure to the full project management lifecycle.
Key Accountabilities:
Project Administration & Reporting: Manage project documentation, prepare regular project reports, and track project timelines to ensure smooth execution.
Scheduling & Coordination: Oversee project schedules, resources, and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
Risk & Issue Management: Identify, monitor, and assist with resolving project risks and issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project progress.
PMO Support: Provide ongoing support to the Project Management Office (PMO) to maintain project standards, processes, and methodologies.
Project Governance: Assist business project leads in adhering to governance structures and project management best practices.
Facilitation & Meetings: Organize and facilitate project meetings, document action items, and deliver regular status updates to stakeholders.
Project Ownership: Oversee and take ownership of smaller initiatives, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations.
Skills & Experience Required:
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in project administration and a minimum of 2 years as a Junior Project Manager.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Project, MS Teams, Confluence, SharePoint, and Jira.
Organisational & Communication Skills: Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Business Analysis Skills: Highly regarded for candidates with business analysis experience.
Project Management Certification: Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
Project Management Lifecycle: Knowledge and practical application across the full project management lifecycle.
