About the role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Farm Manager to assist with the management of our Tamworth Region farms.
In this role, you will support the Farm Manager in managing day-to-day operations within cutting-edge, tunnel-ventilated broiler bird farms, providing strong leadership to a small team of approximately six to eight staff to ensure cost-effective and efficient bird production.
About you To be considered for the Assistant Farm Manager role, you will need at least two years of experience in supervisory roles within broiler/breeder farms.
You should be confident in working closely with staff, providing guidance and support, and taking a collaborative approach with the Farm Manager.
You are efficient, detail-oriented, and a self-starter who thrives in a small team.
The successful applicant must have the right to work in Australia and be a passionate, competent, and hands-on leader with a high regard for Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality.
You will work to proactively support a positive WHS culture across the organization.
