Home Job Info Education Support Employee Role Description/Criteria Role Requirements Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, including those with physical, cognitive, or behavioural challenges Assist teachers in implementing individualised education plans and implementing effective teaching strategies Help with the preparation of learning materials and resources to support student learning Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student support Contribute to the overall positive and inclusive culture of the school What we're looking for Relevant qualifications in education, special education, or a related field Experience working with students with special educational needs, including those with physical, cognitive, or behavioural challenges Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills A passion for supporting the growth and development of all students Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team The successful candidate would be required to have appropriate Criminal Records Checks and Working with Children Check.
