Accountant

Randstad Senior Finance has partnered with a global financial services organisation to offer an exciting opportunity for a skilled Accountant to join their Finance Controllership team. This is a great chance to contribute your expertise and gain experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver monthly financial reports in line with accounting standards, company policies, and deadlines.
Work alongside the broader Finance team across the Pacific region to support accurate and timely reporting.
Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including preparing general journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
Review financial records across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Address financial inquiries by gathering and analysing data.
Liaise with offshore teams and auditors to ensure audit requirements are met.
Support year-end tasks and internal projects as required.
Ideal candidate:
At least 3 years of general accounting experience (BIG 4 preferred).
CA/CPA qualification and a degree in Commerce, Accounting, or equivalent.
Experience with month-end close processes and general ledger reconciliations.
Strong understanding of technical reporting requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (experience with Oracle is highly desirable).
Attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing demands.

The ability to manage a fast-paced workload and multiple projects effectively.
