Or FIFO from any major city on the east.Long term employment prospects with a reputable mine site boasting a long LOM.Enjoy working on a site in the heart of a world heritage listed area.The CompanyThis highly regarded and established mining principal has a historic underground mining operation based on the west coast of Tasmania.The company is proud to offer their employees:Full job security running a mine with a long-term outlook.Training, development and career progression opportunities.A culture where people feel valued, safe and on a journey of development.The MineLocated in western Tasmania, this hard rock mine site is supported by a comfortable and well-equipped mining camp with a high standard of meals on offer.Nature and RosterFor those keen to secure a long-term role on an 8:6 Wednesday to Wednesday roster, the site offers the following arrangements:FIFO from any major city on the east coast - travel in company time (via commercial flight).DIDO from anywhere in Tasmania such as Burnie, Launceston or Hobart.Relocate to anywhere in Tasmania with assistance (flights, storage, shipment of 1x car).The RoleReporting to the Senior Planning Engineer, you will enjoy working alongside a close-knit technical services team to develop and refine the LOM plan.
Your duties will include:Develops panel notes in collaboration with Senior Planning Engineer and Geotechnical Engineer.Drafts MPA and MCP plans for development to support planned production.Provides weekly and monthly reporting.Provide input into the weekly plan.Ensure that files are stored in an accurate and orderly manner.Analyses actual operational performance and provides cost guidance for continuous improvement.Your skills and experienceYou will come from a metalliferous underground mining environment.
You'll come armed with:Relevant tertiary engineering qualification (Engineering).Experience user of Deswik and Ventsim.2+ years' experience in a similar role.Demonstrated capability in effective communication, feedback and collaboration with others.The opportunity and why applyThis is a standout opportunity to join a highly regarded mining principal in western Tasmania.
