If you have experience in building and construction, either in commercial and/or residential projects, we want to hear from you.These are full time positions.On any given day, you will:Engage and inspire learners with training materials and lesson plansArticulate content, providing advice and support to learnersPromote Health and Safety practices in and out of the classroomIncrease your own knowledge and industry leverage to maintain currencyAssess learners through their journey, and promote continuous improvementWhat you bring:An ability to articulate basic and complex carpentry knowledge and jargonAll-round experience in commercial and/or residential carpentryPassion for trades and the drive to lead learners in their careersProject management experience, with the skills to liaise with multiple trades/stakeholders.A minimum Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalentA current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.Supporting a Diverse WorkforceAt TasTAFE, we encourage applications from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, people living with a disability, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, mature age workers and members of the LGBTIQ+ community.We are a diverse and inclusive workplace and understand the importance of flexibility.
