Senior Cyber Security Reporting AnalystSupport Cyber Uplift Program Lead in planning, managing, and reporting on the successful projects' delivery.Min 10 years in Information Technology/Cyber Security domainSkilled in business process design, implementing business process change, & training.Permanent Opportunity | Location – Sydney CBD | Hybrid working.About the RoleProvide comprehensive support to the Cyber Uplift Program Lead in planning, managing, and reporting on the successful delivery of multi-stakeholder projects. This includes addressing high-priority risk issues identified through the Cyber Uplift Program. The role is pivotal in enhancing our cybersecurity capabilities, particularly in developing and preparing strategic documents for the board, steering committees, and other strategic artefacts. Additionally, the role involves developing program-level reporting, ensuring high-quality and accurate tracking, support, and coordination for Cyber Security Program stakeholders, as well as proactively developing and maintaining Cyber Security Metrics.DutiesIt's an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as Senior Cyber Security Reporting Analyst you will:Assist with project governance and reporting as required by the project board as well as assist Cyber Delivery Lead with coordination of Cyber Security projects.Manage the development, deployment and execution of controls and defenses to ensure the security and risk mitigation of company infrastructure technology, information systems.Identify stakeholders and collect business, functional, non-functional, & security requirements.Participate in project meetings and track actions, presentations, briefs, and key messages.Identify cybersecurity architecture and design including goals, objectives and metrics.Develop and prepare comprehensive papers and strategic artefacts for board meetings, steering committees, and other strategic forums.Evaluate potential business impacts from security breaches and provide strategic and tactical guidance to business decision-makers.Develop and execute security systems compliance policies and procedures.Assist with cybersecurity vulnerabilities, threats and events, oversee incident response planning, and lead vulnerability audits and forensic investigations.Work with Project and Operations team to manage the administration and hardening of internal processes and systems against outside penetration and attack.Target and address Cyber Reporting metrics for priority risk issues identified through the Cyber Uplift Program.Enhance reporting processes and improve communication on updates and progress within the Cyber Uplift program.Develop and maintain cybersecurity metrics in alignment with the direction provided by the Cyber Uplift Program.Assist in the creation and dissemination of communications and awareness materials for the cyber program by researching, collating data, and developing custom reports.Participate in project meetings and track actions, prepare presentations, briefs, and key messages as required.Undertake a range of data analysis tasks and administrative tasks to support strategies and policy initiatives in relation to the delivery of the Cyber Security Uplift Program.Support the Head of Cyber Uplift in undertaking project reports, assist in the preparation of briefs and reports, and provide administrative assistance as required.Establish collaborative and productive relationships with team members within the Cyber Security program and liaise with teams to achieve agreed outcomes and coordinate reporting.Source appropriate data and provide accurate and timely analysis to ensure that decisions and advice for the provision of cyber security services are based on the best possible data and information.Utilize reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint to create detailed and insightful reports in line with Cyber Security Industry Standards and best practices.Coordinate staff to meet the project timeframes and manage deadlines and competing priorities to produce technical and non-technical documentation as required.Communicate with stakeholders, both internal and external and demonstrate excellent ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and prioritize tasks.Develop and implement a cyber security strategy and roadmap that aligns with the organisation's vision, mission, and objectives, and addresses the identified gaps and risks.Assist with project deployment of the latest cyber security technologies and solutions, such as firewalls, encryption, antivirus, intrusion detection and prevention systems, security information and event management systems.Skills & ExperienceMinimum 10 years in Information Technology/Cyber Security domain.Strong knowledge of reporting tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.Demonstrated experience in developing and presenting strategic documents and reports.Experience in a similar role within a Cyber Uplift Program or equivalent is preferred.Familiarity with Cyber Security Projects and Information Security Risk Management.Strong skills in business process design, implementing business process change, and conducting training sessions.Experience in Agile Project Delivery.Advanced Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Competency in JIRA and Confluence.Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Project Management or relevant field and/or equivalent industry experience and skills acquired through practical experience.A broad range of experience in applications in complex information system environments with insurance background.Demonstrated experience developing Cyber Security maturity in the insurance sector, banking sector or government sector.CultureWe know our strength comes from the diversity of our people and would encourage people with different experiences and backgrounds to apply.
