About the job: Network Technical Team Lead Job Description for Network Technical Team Lead in Adelaide The candidate will manage the Network Team, including providing team members with career development guidance, assignment and prioritization of workload, performance reviews, personal and professional development coaching, and all other aspects of personnel management.
Responsibilities include:
Periodically organizing and driving the evaluation of the architecture and the plan for future enhancements of the network environment.Taking a lead role in technical issues and driving them to closure by providing technical guidance or taking ownership.Creating best practice technical architecture models utilizing knowledge of industry and technical trends.Performing a wide range of administration duties on network devices including installation, debugging, maintenance, upgrades, and general support.Documenting all diagrams, policies, and procedures for newly deployed systems and reviewing them on a yearly basis.Actively participating in life cycle management ensuring that all owned infrastructure is kept secure using approved software updates and assisting with testing all proposed software updates.Proactively monitoring the network and related services using a combination of tools to ensure high performance and SLA targets are achieved.Assisting in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans.Collecting and reviewing system data for capacity planning purposes.Interfacing with vendors for procurement and maintenance.Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging network tools and technologies.Coordinating with the rest of the Network Systems Team to meet team objectives.Managing multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks/incidents efficiently to meet set goals.Acting as a technical escalation point to assist with resolving incidents and tasks as required.Participating in an On-Call rotation and being available for out of office hours support when needed.Performing other duties as required by the Service Delivery Manager to meet requirements.J-18808-Ljbffr
