Are you a qualified Auto Electrician looking for an exciting opportunity? Brisbane City Council (BCC) is seeking skilled professionals to join their team across Brisbane. If you have the expertise and dedication, this is your chance to work with one of the most reputable employers in the region.
About the Role
As an Auto Electrician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing BCC's extensive fleet. Your responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring and computer-based equipment.
Testing, reconditioning, and installing alternators, starter motors, and batteries.
Maintaining ignition systems, electrical wiring, fuses, lamps, and switches.
Training and supervising apprentices and trade assistants.

What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, preferably in a fleet management environment or working with various vehicle types.
Australian Trade Qualification as an Auto Electrician (Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology) or equivalent.

This bonus will be payable after you have successfully completed three months of employment in the temporary assignment. This bonus is a great way to recognize and reward your skills and experience, and we hope it will encourage you to join our team.*
