Afterschool Nanny

After School Nanny Mornington Peninsula, VIC 2 & 5 year old girls Start Date: February 2025 (flexible) Tuesday & Friday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM & Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM Note: These hours may change once the family establishes a new routine after their relocation.
Bright Nannies & Co. is seeking a warm, reliable, energetic and engaging After-School Nanny for a lovely family in the Mornington Peninsula.
The position involves caring for two young girls, aged 2 and 5, after school, and providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment while supporting the family's daily routines.
As the family is relocating from NSW, the Nanny's schedule and duties may evolve as they settle into their new home and routine.
Flexibility and adaptability are key to this role.
JOB DESCRIPTION: School pick up.
Plan and facilitate fun, age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, reading, outdoor play, and educational games.
Prepare light snacks and meals for the girls, ensuring that meals are healthy and nutritious.
Assist with light tidying and organizing in the children's areas (e.g., putting away toys, ensuring the children's spaces are neat).
Assist the 5-year-old with basic schoolwork and reading as needed.
Transport the children to or from local activities or appointments in a safe and timely manner.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES (OCCASIONAL) The parents travel to NSW for work commitments 1-2 times every 2 months.
During these trips, the Nanny will be required to stay with the children for 3-4 days at a time to care for them while the parents are away.
Be open to adjusting hours occasionally, depending on the family's needs as they settle into their new routine in Victoria.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: At least 3 years of experience as a Nanny.
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Working With Children Check (WWCC) required.
Police Check (or willingness to undergo one).
Flexibility to accommodate occasional changes in hours and overnight stays.
Warm, nurturing, active and patient with a positive attitude.  Driver's License Positive references from previous nannying roles, especially those with young children.
